1981 we started our activities by sticking flyers on the windshield of parking VW-Busses. Starting with this initiative we became the largest and well-known club over the last decades in Germany. Because of the
innovative work and the relaxed atmosphere we have become the model for a lot of clubs that now operate in the same way. We achieved one of the major objectives: to move the image of the VW-Bus from a transport
vehicle to a ”neat multifunctional car” We do not only preserve and restore historical VW-Busses from the good old days of the ”economic miracle”, organize spare parts, archive everything you want to know about
the VW-Busses, fun get-togethers but are also engaged in charitable activities:
- Donation of a VW-Bus for transportation purposes to Rwanda
- Donation of a T3-Bus to the orphanage in Koblenz
- Donation of a ambulance bus to Alba Julia, Rumania
The legendary VW-Bus German Meeting is happening every other year and has become very popular:
- over 10.000 visitors and over 1.300 VW-Busses in 1995
- the longest VW-convoy of 18.5km in 1993
- the flight of a T3-Bus over the Rhine hanging at an transportation helicopter
- the first swimming T3-Bus on the Mosel
- 4 complete soccer teams incl. referee in one T3-Bus
- one T4-Syncro-Bus pulling 10 busses at once
- Syncro-Action 95: T3-Bus pulls an 50to-Truck with over 200 persons on it
- and much more
